quick update

Sorry for the silence we have been staying at Mom and Pat's for the last week and a half petsitting.

Tommy's picture was in the newspaper - his company was profiled and they had a group photo. Less than six months here and we are in the news!

We went to a oyster roast - These are big social events around these parts. It was lots of fun and the hot dogs were awesome!

Our offer has been accepted. - We close on the house 11/15/08 if all goes well. which mmeans we will be working on the new house in the freezing cold. Figures huh?

It is getting into the thirtys here some nights. Aye che mama

arrgghhh I really really don't want to post a picture of me.  I have balloonned up nicely lately.  But Destiny wanted to see my clothes and boots so oh well.  I would take a picture of Tommy who is much more atractive in them but that would just be silly.  hmmmm nevermind his feet are too big.

I am a shit

Wow, I was walking Cassie this morning and started thinking about what I wrote earlier. I am a shit. Here this poor woman is speaking about her terrible life and seeing people dragged from their cars and shot in (Iraq Afghanistan? I am not even sure because I am a shit) and all I think immediately is "Do I really have to be subjected to this first thing in the morning"

I am so lucky to live in a world were the worst that I have to deal with is being annoyed about the timing of having to listen about other people's suffering. I am a shitty shitty person. And rest assured I will think of someway to make myself feel better about this today. Undoubtedly in a fashion that isn't to inconvenient to me.

I cannot decide how today is going to go. I am kinda superstitious about my mornings. The first few things that I see or hear or do each morning can set the tone for the whole day. My morning thus far.

1. Walked into kitchen where Tommy had left the radio on all night to a woman speaking about people being dragged from their cars and shot for no reason. Stupid NPR.

2. Cassie didn't pee overnight on the kitchen floor! I did not have to start my day cleaning up a flood of urine for the first time in 3 days.

I can't tell if this is a gonna be a good day or not. I can tell you one thing for certain tho: If adding sugar to my green tea can be a tie breaker to add some sweetness to my day I am all in.
