It took 4 days, 1 lost cat, and a lost gas cap but we all arrived safely in VA. Mom got a cold (that she kindly shared with at last count 5 people) on the plane to Texas. She has asked us to start calling her Typhoid Mary and we have complied. The cat? She was retrieved after Mom and my Honey Bunny left her in her carrier, on the bed, in the hotel room on Day 1 of driving half way across the country. I luckily started counting heads and came up one short before we got to far. Who says OCD isn't useful?
I will post pix when I can. We have been here 6 days now and we have 3 TV channels, no AC or heat, no jobs but we do have broadband. We have priorities!!

Welcome to Virginia, Sis! The east coast is a beautiful place with hot summers, cold winters, and the most breathtaking springs and falls I do believe you will have ever seen. The people in your area are one of the greatest I have ever known. You landed in a wonderful area.
You and your handsome man are welcome to Northern Virginia any time to see the sights. You can go alone or I am more than willing to tag along as your tour guide for the first time (or couple of times).
I'm looking forward to more and more family reunions. The fun has just begun.
Love to you and your man!!!
