its been awhile

I have really not been a good blogger at all.  Case in point: we received approx 5 inches of snow here Sunday and Monday.  It was a beautiful fairyland and I took exactly 0 pictures.  It was cold  and I didn't want to.

I am still unemployed.  Cassie has been very sick lately and I am now staying home with her every day.  I went out once this week and she went with me.  She is still happy, and all of her bodily functions are working proper;y she is just weak.  If left alone she will fall and she can't get up.  Plus she starts howling if we leave her alone.  

I have been knitting and knitting.  I am doing a merse for someone right now with cables!  I like cables very much.  I thing I will have to make something Celtic for Tommy soon.
